Donald R. Farrar taught woody plant biology for forestry and wildlife majors at 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ State University for 36 years, and has authored many research publications on the ecology of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s forests.  He is coauthor of Forest and Shade Trees of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, third edition with Peter J. van der Linden (91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, 2011). He lives in Ames, 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ.
